Hello everybody I'd like to tell you about my life as a teenager in Foxborough Massachusetts. Let me introduce myself. My name is Eric Weiss, I'm 15 years old and I go to Foxborough High school. I play the violin in the music program at the highschool and in the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. I like almost every kind of music (not country/bluegrass), my favorite bands/artists/dj's including Linkin Park (all time favorite), Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Nickelback, Seether, Switchfoot, Basshunter, Darren Styles, Scooter, Akon, Black Eyed Peas, T-Pain, Kanye West, and Weird Al. I don't have that many friends here but I'm happy with that because I don't like the kids here (more on that later). I'm single and have never had anything I'd call a real relationship. I live with my single mother, who runs a highly successful single parents group that has over 350 active members, and my older brother who I hate and is finally going off to college in August. My father, who's an accountant, lives in Dover, MA, along with my step-mother, who's a teacher at Needham High (Weedham High ;-), and my half sister who means the whole world to me. I enjoy video games although I'm often punished from them because of poor grades (been without my Xbox for almost a year). I enjoy watching TV, my favorite shows being Law and Order SVU and American Idol. I love theater, I'm an actor and have been in 4 shows (Fiddler on the Roof [Fiddler], Beauty and the Beast [innkeeper], and Oliver! [Charlie Bates]). I was never really into sports although I do play Ultimate Frisbee at the Middle School and I play paintball as much as possible. I'm one of the few (and I mean veeeerrrrrrrry few) people in Foxborough that doesn't drink, smoke, or get high. This is one of the reasons that I don't have that many friends, I only become friends with sensible people (don't drink, smoke, get high, etc,etc). I'm a bit of a computer wiz and was often was asked to fix computers in middle school, more recently I fixed a major security flaw in the High school's online gradebook. I'd like to go to college and become a music producer. My grades in freshmen year of highschool weren't that good because I consistently didn't do my homework. Well thats about it reguarding myself. This blog's future posts are going to be about what happens in Foxborough and how it affects my life. So long for now.
